Granted, Trout has had comparatively fewer chances — he’s played only eight of the decade’s nine possible seasons , and one of those was an abbreviated rookie year during which he appeared in just 40 games. In a way, it’s only by virtue of how individually brilliant Trout has been that we’re even in a position to compare playoff records with his rivals like this.
