Most baseball fans will probably be aware that the Oakland Athletics have been campaigning for years to find a new stadium. The New York Mets' broadcast crew just delivered an explanation for why they need one that is more compelling than anything the team is willing to divulge.

COHEN: So, when we came here last September, we were told the tale of the RingCentral Coliseum possum, who apparently makes a home in the visitors TV booth ... so, the Angels played here at the beginning of the season, they were the first team in.
A possum being the loose in the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum shouldn't be surprising for anyone given the stadium's notoriety as the most decrepit stadium in MLB, and possibly all of sports. In fact, possums are a known issue in the stadium.
