Emergency services were called to the scene this morning

A Translink Metro bus caught fire in Belfast this morning. Emergency Services were called to the scene shortly after 9am in the west of the city.

A Translink spokesperson said: “The driver of a Metro bus travelling towards Belfast City Centre along Suffolk Road at approx. 9.10 this morning noticed smoke from the engine bay.“The driver safely disembarked the passengers and another bus was sent to enable them to continue their journey. There were no injuries.
