A period of 'unsettled weather' is predicted by forecasters
The UK has experienced bouts of extreme weather recently after Storm Babet brought heavy rainfall and flooding to Nottinghamshire. But forecasters are now predicting that an icy blast is headed towards northern parts of Britain at the start of next week, with some areas expected to plummet to temperatures as low as -6C, Birmingham Live reports.
“While the UK is used to dealing with lots of rain and icy conditions during winter, the extreme weather that the country is currently experiencing, can have negative effects on those not used to carrying out their jobs in large amounts of rain and cold temperatures. Luckily, there are some measures you can implement to ensure you stay as safe and healthy as possible, when working next week."
