'Top Chef: All Stars LA' winner Melissa King hits the MetGala carpet
The stars are out tonight at the Met Gala, the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual fundraising event for its Costume Institute.
As part two of “In America: An Anthology of Fashion,” the theme for this year’s Met Gala is Gilded Glamour. The Met co-chairs include Regina King, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds and Lin-Manuel Miranda. Honorary chairs include Tom Ford, Adam Mosseri and Anna Wintour. Early arrivals, including Vanessa Hudgens, Emma Chamberlain and Lala Anthony, set the tone for the event. Each interpreted the theme in different ways: Hudgens rocked a sheer black lace gown with statement sleeves, Chamberlain wore a beige-and-white Louis Vuitton ensemble and Anthony sported a festive red gown with a matching hat.
Guests expected at fashion’s biggest night out include Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, New York City Mayor Eric Adams, Anitta, Naomi Campbell, Phoebe Bridgers and Paul Mescal, Billie Eilish, Jacob Elordi, Andrew Garfield, Hillary Clinton, Megan Thee Stallion, Olivia Rodrigo, Nicki Minaj, Sarah Jessica Parker and more.
