JUST IN: Mesa PD searching for 'armed and dangerous' 20yo person of interest in connection to Mesa Circle K murder last week. abc15
MESA, AZ — Mesa police are searching for a suspected killer after a man was shot and killed at a gas station.
At about 3:30 a.m. April 27, police were called to the Circle K near Gilbert and McKellips roads for reports of a shooting. When they arrived at the scene, they found a man who had been shot while in the driver's seat of his truck, parked next to gas pumps in the lot. The victim was identified as 30-year-old Jose Gutierrez of Mesa. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Monday, May 2, Mesa police announced they are looking for 20-year-old Adam Gomez as a person of interest in the case.If located do not approach and immediately contact law enforcement at 480-644-2211 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS .
