Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has echoed Red Bull team principal Christian Horner’s criticism of F1’s sprint format , claiming the “weird schedule” is just one of its many faults.
Wolff believes that while the efforts of F1 chief executive Stefano Domenicali to improve the sport’s popularity should be encouraged, sprint races are not the answer. “I’m more conservative. I don’t like the sprint weekends.
