Memorial, Dobie baseball teams lock up state playoff berths

The twin wins improved Memorial’s district ledger to 7-2 and in sole possession of second place. He’s pretty unbeatable when he does that kind of stuff. It’s always battle with those guys, but Hayden was attacking the zone very well. He’s able to throw his curveball at any time in the count for a strike. When you’re doing that in high school, you’re going to be pretty effective,” Garza said.Stallings had little wiggle room for three innings and the Mavs lead only 1-0. But when Creason roped a double for two more runs, the pressure was for the most part gone.
