Media personality Megyn Kelly slammed critics who have labeled her “transphobic,” saying the term misrepresents her stance on biological males identifying as transgender females.
“You know, this word ‘transphobic,’ I've been thinking about this word,” Kelly said on her SiriusXM The Megyn Kelly Show. “I don't care what you call me. I believe women are women and men are men.”“You can't change your sex. And gender is really not a thing,” the podcast host continued. “The word ‘transphobic,’ it's suggesting fear of trans people. Well, I'm not sure ‘fear’ is exactly what it is, but ‘anger.
Last week, Kelly tweeted in response to criticism of views she had expressed on her show, saying: “Call me whatever names you want. I am speaking the truth. And neither I nor the millions of other women who believe in biology/reality/fairness will be dissuaded by your attempts to marginalize us with words like ‘transphobic.’”

“I do want to be trans-exclusionary when it comes to my bathrooms, and my locker room, and my sports," she said.
