A lot of players have the ability, what a lot of players aren’t prepared for is the mental side of the game I realised that I want to give back in a bigger way more consistently and more intensively than I was before and become creative about what exactly it was that I wanted to do. It took us a long time to get to where we are now, but once we got our first client things started to really fly.I was looking at these academies and these players are getting help on a group level, but they’re starting to miss that one-to-one attention and get lost within those systems.
On the pitch, we’re talking about their skills and mental toughness, off the pitch, focusing on what they’re eating, who they’re hanging around, what ways they’re thinking about themselves when they’re not playing football and you’ll be surprised the number of young players and parents who just aren’t aware of that side of the game.
