Scooter, a 7-year-old Chinese Crested hairless with a face anyone should love, is now the proud owner of the title of the “World’s Ugliest Dog.”

Scooter won his title last Friday at the Sonomoa-Marin Fair in Petaluma, California. And while the title may sound like an insult, organizers said the event actually raises awareness of “extraordinary canines that have defied adversity and captured the hearts of attendees.” Second place was won by Wild Thang, a 7-year-old Pekingese owned by Ann Lewis. Taking third place and the coveted Spirit award was Harold Bartholomew, a 16-year-old Chihuahua owned by Sabrina Impelido.
