CLEVELAND, Ohio — Quarterback Danny Stoddard accounted for six touchdowns in the first half and Medina exploded for 35 points in the second quarter in a 56-21 victory Friday over host Strongsville in a Greater Cleveland Conference encounter.

The Bees play at GCC-leading Cleveland Heights next Friday, while Strongsville plays at Shaker Heights. The Bees opened the game by scoring twice on big plays, first a 66-yard pass from Stoddard to Austin Knowles, and then a 54-yard pass from Stoddard to Dylan Whitehill. However, Strongsville tightened up its defense and battled back into the game, as the first period ended with the visitors on top, 14-7.
