None of the injuries to the CareFlight helicopter’s crew members were life-threatening after the crash early Tuesday morning in Butler County.
MILFORD TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Three emergency workers were injured early Tuesday morning when their medical helicopter crashed while responding to a fatal vehicle crash in Southwest Ohio.
The helicopter was responding to a two-vehicle crash that killed at 69-year-old Indiana woman and seriously injured a 43-year-old woman. The sheriff’s office says a 1998 Chevrolet Silverado pulled into an intersection and was struck by a 2013 GMC Sierra. Two other people in the Silverado had minor injuries, while the sole occupant of the Sierra was not injured.
