McFly frontman Tom Fletcher has had a hectic few days after being rushed to the hospital because of an eye emergency.
Alongside the snap, the 37 year old singer wrote: "Sorry I’ve been quiet for a bit.I was wiped out with some sort of illness and in bed for a few days. I just got back on my feet yesterday and uveitis decided to kick me down again.” Concluding, Tom said that his recovery will take six weeks and will entail steroids, dark rooms and sunglasses.According to the NHS, Uveitis is described as the inflammation of the middle layer of the eye, called the uvea or uveal tract. It can cause eye pain and changes to your vision.
“Oh sorry to hear this. Get better soon. Rest and hope you have a lovely Christmas with your wonderful family,” another wrote, as a third continued: “Nooo right in time for Christmas what a nightmare! Honestly don’t apologise for being quiet get well soon Tom you are a superhero you can get through this!”
