McDonald’s has bought back the Chicken Big Mac and launched the Steakhouse Stack - which is as good as it sounds. And of course, I had to try it. The burger comes at £5.39 by itself is £6.99 for a meal. Inside a sesame seed bun, the Steakhouse Stack has two patties inside, lettuce, red onions, crispy onions, cheese and peppercorn sauce.
If I had my eyes closed, I’ll be honest, I probably wouldn’t have been able to tell meat patties were steak but nonetheless, they were juicy, meaty and moist. The lettuce and red onions added a lot of crunch to the burger and there was a generous amount of peppercorn sauce.
