We were among the first people to try the new Happy Meal items in Formby McDonald's
The ECHO were among the first to try the new menu, which will be served exclusively in the North West region of the UK and in selected restaurants in Republic of Ireland. The trial will last for 14 weeks from Wednesday, May 28.
The Mayo Chicken, is already an iconic staple on the Saver Menu but it now joins the Happy Meal menu. Next up are the Fish Bites, five bite-sized pollock pieces in a crisp panko breadcrumb coating and served with a choice of dip, choose between BBQ, sweet and sour, sweet curry and ketchup. Available in Chocolate, Strawberry and Banana with natural flavourings and no added sugar. The new McFreezy is also available. McFreezy is a frozen ice dessert made with fruit juice and puree, available in either orange or mango and pineapple flavour.
