He’d wanted to return before the All-Star break while rehabbing daily since Dec. 20 surgery, but the Mavericks’ medical staff remained cautious with his timeline in hopes of avoiding setbacks after Kleber’s return to full-strength action.
Kleber’s 3-point shooting also proved crucial to the Mavericks’ success in the first two rounds of the playoffs last year and should now help space the offense with Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving at the helm.
