Matty Healy has confirmed that he's safe from the wildfires ravaging Maui amid a trip to Hawaii this week.
, with at least three raging on the island since Tuesday.
A total of 36 people are confirmed to have died in the horror fires, which have been ripping through the historic town of Lāhainā, home to 12,000 people and a popular tourist destination.Fans voiced concern for Matty, bandmates Ross MacDonald, Adam Hann and George Daniel, and the touring crew as dire reports came from Maui, however, they are now confirmed to be safe.
The town of Lāhainā has been the worst affected by the wildfires, with the harbour being burnt p and officials saying 271 structures have so far been destroyed.
