Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila Alves were joined by their three children Levi, Vida and Livingston at a fundraising gala in Austin, Texas, on Thursday, April 25.

According to the organization’s website, the Gala is their biggest fundraising night and is part of a two-day event offering music, golf and fashion “benefiting select non-profit organizations that each reflect the MJ&M goal to empower kids.”."I remember sitting at the premiere with them listening and going, 'Hey, that sounds like ...' and they had that moment where they look at the screen and audio, and then look at me sitting next to them and do the math.
"And so I had to become a better storyteller to tell my kids about a good guy, a bad guy and a monster in this, to tell them the parable of the story I was in," McConaughey continued.
