Motorists should stay on top of a vital change which needs to be updated every 10 years
Motorists have been urged to check their driving licences are valid as more than two million people in the UK have out-of-date photocards.
In his section of the MSE Tuesday newsletter, Martin Wrote: "UK photo driving licences usually expire after 10 years - so if you've got one, take a quick look at its 4b 'expiry date' label. Renewing your photocard costs £14 online or £17 by post and can be applied for online at Gov.uk, providing you have a valid UK passport.
You should also get a reminder to renew a month or so before your licence expires, and that's when it's best to do it.
