The star was spotted filming for series two of the hit BBC drama
The thrilling crime drama stars Martin as troubled cop Chris Carson, who attempts to take down a dangerous Merseyside drug ring, and soon finds himself swept up in a series of dramatic events.
A letter to residents in the area from production company Dancing Ledge said: "After a successful and fulfilling relationship with Liverpool during the filming of series one we are incredibly excited to be returning to the city, and we are looking forward to showcasing more of Merseyside." Another photo shows Martin and Adelayo Adedayo sitting on a police car having a conversation. The series was created by Huyton native Tony Schumacher and the show is inspired by his time as a police officer in Liverpool.
