Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag insists he was not frustrated by the wait to sign Sofyan Amrabat.
United monitored Amrabat for months and club sources claim they had to wait until they received a £15m fee from Crystal Palace for Dean Henderson to reinvest in Amrabat. "Very pleased," Ten Hag said of the Amrabat signing. "It was already from the start of the season one of my wishes to get another 6, another holding midfielder in the squad.
"With Sofyan Amrabat, we have another one. He can also play alongside Casemiro because he can play higher on the pitch and it's good to have him. He fits good to Premier League football, Champions League football, the demands.
