A man who walked away from a re-entry program in San Diego earlier this week was found and arrested Wednesday morning, state prisons officials said.
Castro was taken to Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility — a state prison in Otay Mesa — and his case will be referred to the county District Attorney’s Office to be reviewed for possible escape charges, the agency said.Castro had permission to be away from the San Diego Male Community Re-entry Program in Barrio Logan on Tuesday to visit a senior care facility.
