A MAN was taken to hospital after an early morning incident in Port Glasgow closed a town centre bakery shop.
A police cordon was put in place around Greggs in Princes Street as officers responded to the disturbance, with an eyewitness claiming 'there was quite a lot of blood' inside the eatery.spokesperson said: “We were called at around 6.05am on Friday, April 7, to a report of a man found injured on Princes Street, Port Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and a 38-year-old man was taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital in Greenock for treatment.
