HOUSTON, Texas -- A man accused of shooting the new boyfriend of his child's mother to death at an apartment complex in the Texas Medical Center is still out there, police said.The woman and her boyfriend were asleep in the apartment when police said her ex barged his way inside the unit. Detectives are still investigating how the man got inside.
The child the woman and suspect share was not inside the apartment at the time of the shooting, police said. While the suspect remains on the loose, police said they were able to recover his vehicle. They did not disclose where it was found. Homicide detectives are en route to 2626 Holly Hall after a male was found with a gunshot wound about 8:25 a.m.
