Daphne police said a man was wounded in a shooting there on Wednesday.
Investigators said the victim was found wounded in a driveway around 3 p.m. on Pine Street in the Daphmont neighborhood. He was rushed to Thomas Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.
The suspect fled the scene and is wanted by police. Investigators said they had a vague description of the man and are not sure what led up to the shooting.
