A man in his 30s was shot and killed during an altercation outside a South Side sports bar early Thursday morning, according to San Antonio police.

The shooting happened around 2:20 a.m. outside the 210 Sports Cantina & Grill in the 1900 block of Southwest Military Drive, not far from Commercial Avenue and Interstate 35.According to police, a fight broke out in the parking lot and that’s when shots were fired from two separate locations. The man was struck in the chest and died at the scene.
Police said several people fled the area when the gunshots were fired. There is no suspect information at this time. It is also not clear why the fight occurred.
