Emergency services rushed to Todmorden Road in Burnley at around 6.57pm on Thursday . The crash involved a car and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a man in his 30s, suffered serious injuries. He was taken to hospital where he continues to be treated.An air ambulance also attended the incident alongside Lancashire Police. A force spokesperson said: "We were called at 6.57pm yesterday to a report of a road traffic collision on Todmorden Road, Burnley.
"A pedestrian – a man in his 30s - was in collision with a car and suffered serious injuries. He was taken to hospital and is being treated for his injuries." A spokesperson for North West Air Ambulance said: "We can confirm that the North West Air Ambulance Charity was called to an incident in the Burnley area, H72 attended."
