Man's 'grim' Wetherspoons meal that 'would fail GCSE food tech' Curiously
A man was left disappointed by his "grim" meal from a London Wetherspoons that would "fail GCSE home economics".
He wrote: "Eating in the Red Lion in Gatwick is never a “great” experience. However, tonight’s offering is particularly grim. The person who “cooked” this abomination would fail GCSE level home economics cookery. Utterly disastrous." Others also chimed in to ask how Greg could "get on a plane" after eating the meal, or find out why he had chosen The Red Lion for his airport meal in the first place. The original poster chalked it down to "Tiredness and a lapse of judgement."
A second wrote: "Arrived early afternoon. The queue was at least 100 metres long. The waiting staff advised eaters that the waiting time for food and drinks would be an hour. Ordered food from the app. Food arrived earlier than the drinks. Quite the worst. Eggs Benedict with ham that had clearly been sitting outside for a while. The ham was crispy around the edges. Asked for a full refund, and was given around a third of the original price.
