Man pepper sprayed after punching and kicking rail staff at Blackpool North station
One staff member was punched in the face by the assailant while another was kicked. The man was arrested by transport police but pepper spray had to be used to subdue him.
Police say the offender has been interviewed and released as investigations continue. Police are now gathering CCTV footage from the night in question and further statements from those in the area at the time.A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: "Male was #arrested at #BlackpoolNorth after he punched a member of railstaff in the face and kicked another. Pepper spray had to be used on arrest to subdue the offender.
"He has been interviewed and released under investigation whilst further statements and #CCTV are obtained."
