Jason Edwards is behind bars
A man has been jailed for what police called a 'disturbing and terrifying' burglary at a young woman's home.
Edwards, 26, of Marthall Drive in Sale, Trafford, was arrested later and subsequently pleaded guilty to aggravated burglary and possession of a bladed article. "After knocking on the front door while brandishing a large meat cleaver, two women in their 20s who were staying at the address for the weekend visiting their friend, opened the door, before Edwards proceeded to push past them, forcing his way into the property.
