Locals initally thought it had been a shooting incident
Police say they received a report that a man aged in his 30s had allegedly "received a neck injury as he stood at the front door of a residential property" in the Glencairn Street area on Tuesday, April 11.
A PSNI spokesperson added: "On attendance, it was noted that the injuries sustained by the man were minor."It is believed that these were caused by a banger-type firework.
