Leeds man forced to hide his car in 'hard to live' in Armley
The young man, who wanted to be known as Niska, had parked his car on the street outside his flat in Wesley Road, Armley, and at around 7.30pm on Thursday, February 3, he heard the alarm. Thinking nothing of it, Niska went back upstairs.
“He smashed the rear passenger window and he tried to look at something in my car - he didn’t take anything, I don’t know what he was trying to do, steal the car? Or mess around?" He said: "There is a real issue with crime in Armley. Things in Armley are getting worse, there are too many crimes, too many stabbings, it’s hard to live here.
