A man was shot and killed in front of a taco stand in northeast Houston on Tuesday, possibly due to a drug transaction, Houston police said.

A man in his 20s was in his car with his cousin. Then, he got out to approach the taco stand, and the male suspect was already there. The men spoke, and it appeared they were about to get into a fight. Officers said the suspect then pulled out a gun and shot the other man and left.Police said they obtained security video footage that showed a drug transaction may have happened between the two men before the shooting, and drugs were found inside the victim’s vehicle.
