A 50-year-old wan was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision on the A1 at 3.50am on the A1 at Eyemouth.
A man had died in a horror crash between a truck and a lorry that closed down the A1 for almost 12 hours. The collision happened in the early hours of Thursday, January 19, just north of Eyemouth in the Borders.
Motorists were urged to avoid the area with emergency services at the scene since 3.50am investigating the crash. The road did not reopen until 2.15pm.Sergeant Jill Kirkpatrick said: “We received a report of a crash involving a truck and a lorry on the A1 north of Eyemouth, around 3.30am on Thursday, 19 January, 2023.
