A man has been charged under the Dangerous Dogs Act in connection with the death of another man at a house in Derby
Police were called to reports that a dog at a house in Cameron Road was presenting a risk to officers and the public.
Wayne Stevens, 51, died after the incident at around 5.50am on Saturday in the Cavendish area of the city.Gary Stevens, 53, of Cameron Road, Derby, has been charged with being the person in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury resulting in death.The force said:"Formal identification has taken place, and the victim has been named as 51-year-old Wayne Stevens.
