ICYMI: Man charged after crossbow bolt strikes woman's truck in Saskatoon
The vehicle’s owner, Whitney Gouw, told the StarPhoenix she had just left Cabela’s Wednesday evening and got into the truck. Mere seconds after she got into her vehicle, she heard a pop, like someone had jumped on the hood of a car, but “extreme,” she explained.
Between shipping containers in the parking lot, she saw a head poking out and she went out to talk to the man, she said. Gouw is grateful she was not hurt.She shared video of the interaction in an Instagram story. In the video, she can be heard asking him if he bought the crossbow “today” , to which he says yes. A bolt can be seen sticking out of the rear door on the driver’s side.
