Newark man caught in stolen car arrested again 3 days later after stealing another vehicle: Hoboken police

David Theodore, 29, was taken into custody at 10:48 p.m. Sunday when Hoboken Police Officers Nicholas Protopapadakis and Harry Montalvo conducted a motor vehicle stop of a white Infiniti in the area of 50 Harrison St., Lt. Danilo Cabrera said. The officers found that the car was reported stolen out of Maplewood.
At 2 a.m. Wednesday, Sgt. Donald Rosso was flagged down in the area of First Street and Willow Avenue by a victim who said her Zipcar rental car was stolen. As Rosso was taking her report, the victim saw the vehicle traveling westbound through the intersection of Newark Street and Willow Avenue, Cabrera said.
