The man pistol-whipped the woman and forced her to drive to a nearby convenience store, police said.
Police said the man entered the woman’s apartment through a sliding glass door on Tuesday morning in the 11700 block of Parliament Drive, near Blanco Road and West Avenue.There, she was forced to withdraw money from an ATM. Police said the woman also had her children in the van with her.
The man ran away and the woman drove to a nearby neighborhood, where she found a security guard and asked for help.Police are searching for the suspect and looking at surveillance video from the store.
