A man in his 40s has been arrested after police seized suspected Class A drugs with an estimated street value of £100,000 and approximately £20,000 in cash.
Police said the search was conducted as part of an ongoing investigation into organised crime in the north Belfast area. Officers also seized a quantity of suspected Class B controlled drugs and suspected drugs paraphernalia.The man, aged 47, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply, possession of a Class B controlled drug and possession of criminal property. He remains in custody at this time, assisting with police enquiries.
