The New Jersey resident conspired with a Georgia woman he met online to sell the guns in New Jersey, according to prosecutors.
A South Jersey man has admitted he illegally transported firearms from Georgia and tried to sell them in New Jersey as part of a scheme with a woman he met online.
Ianncelli and Hill, a Georgia resident, began a long-distance relationship after meeting online last year, according to court documents. Text messages recovered from Ianncelli’s phone indicate the pair discussed the plan to buy the guns and resell them in New Jersey for a profit, authorities said.
