Henry Keith Holme, 90, and Janette Tait, 79, died after the crash on the A7 in November 2022 and police have now charged a man in connection.
An 82-year-old man has been charged in connection with a crash on the A7, which claimed the lives of two Scots grandparents. Officers were called to reports of a two-car smash between Galashiels and Selkirk at around 3.25 pm, on Saturday, 26 November 2022.
The driver of the Ford was taken by ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. Police have now charged an 82-year-old in connection with a fatal crash.The family of Mr Holme, who ran the pharmacist in Galashiels, said in a statement: "Henry Keith Holme, known as Keith, was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
