A male was found shot to death early Saturday near an abandoned apartment complex on Birmingham’s west side.
Police arrived and found the male victim in the middle of the road suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, said Lt. Rod Mauldin. Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service pronounced the man dead on the scene.Mauldin said details of what lead to the deadly shooting are limited. No arrests have been made. On Friday afternoon, remains were found inside a burned vehicle off Sheridan Road in Pratt City. Mauldin said that death was unclassified, and no additional information has been released.
