Those in the centre told the M.E.N. about the moment the emergency services came to the centre.
One eyewitness said: "I arrived home and as I was walking to my apartment I saw an ambulance pull up. They appeared to be attending someone. "I thought nothing of it and continued into my apartment. About 5 minutes later, dozens of emergency vehicles arrived, they blocked off Station Street entirely, nobody was allowed to walk through to get to the train station, everyone had to enter the train station through the back entrance in Edgely.One dad told the M.E.N he had received a call from his wife who said she and their four children had been asked to evacuate the swimming pool and move to a nearby Premier Inn.
Another eyewitness said people had been evacuated from the area and that 'multiple' emergency services had rushed to the scene.We will be bringing you all the latest updates from this breaking incident below.
