Police in Maine are still searching for 40-year-old Richard Card, who's accused of fatally shooting 18 people in Lewiston on Wednesday.
, who's accused of being the gunman who killed at least 18 people in Lewiston this week, entered its third day on Friday. Police are scheduled to give an update on the manhunt at a 10 a.m. press conference.
Authorities are continuing to search for Robert Card, wanted in the shooting deaths of at least 18 people at a bowling alley and a bar in Lewiston.This all started just before 7 p.m. Wednesday, when the Auburn Communication Center was notified that there was a man walking into Just-In-Time Recreation — a bowling alley on Mollison Street — and began shooting. Seven people were shot, including one female and six males.
Authorities have not released the names of the 18 people killed in two mass shootings in Lewiston, Maine, but their family members and friends have begun sharing their stories. Right now, there is still a shelter in place in effect in Bowdoin, Lisbon — where they found Card's car — and Lewiston, where that shooting took place. Schools are also closed on Friday.The Boston Bruins took to their home ice at TD Garden on Thursday night with a massive show of support for the Lewiston, Maine, shooting victims and their families.
