She is credited with being the nation’s first black self-made female millionaire, and her legacy has outlasted those who preceded her.

Walker’s life and contributions and business and activism are preserved and told, but it's also to reimagine how her home can be reused for increased social impact and to empower other business pioneers, women and cultural influencers that want to follow in her footsteps.
