Traffic is building close to the M6
Preston New Road heading eastbound has been closed due to thewhich happened around 8.30am this morning. Traffic monitoring website Inrix says that there is heavy traffic on the road.
Police have advised that they expect the road to be closed for some time and are urging drivers to find an alternative route. In a statement made on social media, they said: "Please be aware the A59 Preston New Road heading Eastbound from J31 M6 is currently closed due to a Road Traffic Collision.Read Next:
