Part of the M1 is closed this morning (Friday, April 21) after a crash near Mansfield in the early hours.
In an alert issued at 2.30am, National Highways said the motorway is closed within J29 due to a collision.
In a tweet, the road network authority said: "The M1 in Derbyshire is closed northbound within J29 due to a collision. Derbyshire Police are in attendance. Traffic is being diverted via the exit and entry slip roads. Delays of at least 30 minutes on approach and two miles of congestion, please allow extra time for your journey."
