M&S offering 'really comfortable' £45 dupe of £100 New Balance trainers (contains affiliate links)
The world of dupes is growing thick and fast, with Marks & Spencer now offering a £45 version of some £100 New Balance trainers.
The 'Dark Rose' shade is proving to be the most popular, and is currently only available in a size 6.5. There are still some sizes left in black, beige, orange, blue mix and khaki mix.On the M&S website, the full product description reads: "Lace up these leather trainers to conquer the busy day ahead. We've designed them with a chunky sole to cushion every step. Contrasting side panels add a dash of detail.
Although the two trainers look very similar, there are some minor differences between the two. Different features include the coloured lacing on the New Balance pair as opposed to white on the M&S version, the black sole instead of brown, and of course, the missing 'N' branding. A second review read: "I was about to buy a pair of New Balance trainers for £70 more when I saw these M&S ones online. They’re a similar style and colour and look really smart. The size is true and they’re really comfortable too. I haven’t always been impressed with M&S trainers but these have impressed me."However, there were some issues with the fit of the shoes - this was reflected in the reviews section. Many shoppers advised to size down on the dupe trainers.
