Uber driver Lena Antoon says it’s costing her an additional $35 a day just to drive, and that she is beyond frustrated.
As of Tuesday, the average gas price in Seattle is $4.72 a gallon. In some areas, like Capitol Hill, gas is already over $5.00, while Tacoma and surrounding areas are paying $4.53. And with the United States cutting off oil ties with Russia, we can expect another increase later on in the day.
